Over the past years at Bombaywaali, we have had conversations with powerful and driven women who exemplify the spirit of the city. Pooja Dhingra, Bachi Karkaria, Shobha De, Tasneem Mehta, Sonal Holland, Richa Chhada, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Tisca Chopra, Malishka, Miss Malini, Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal, Gul Panag and many, many more wonderful, feisty women who speak their minds and speak it loud.

Says SheThePeopleTV founder Shaili Chopra, “We are very excited with the conversations lined up at this edition of the Bombaywaali by SheThePeople Summit, from digital influencers, to content creators, to entertainers, we have a stunning array of voices that drive this city, making it as the title goes, Maximum City.”

This summit will bring together the leading women and men in Mumbai’s public and private sectors to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities facing them today. We will focus on people who have an experienced or novel sight of Mumbai, and can speak about the city and its reset, as well as people and their reset using their own inspiring journey

Our first panel will be A panel on women in Bollywood who have reinvented their stories.

A panel on urban thinkers and architects who are rebuilding and reshaping the city of Mumbai.

A panel on the women who are behind the scenes (business and entrepreneurship) for creating the best content in India

Evening panels has the concept of shared experiences evolved with the pandemic or do we stand to lose the essence of storytelling and production by reformatting performance arts to online platforms

Final panel of the day will be on inspirational real women who have fought everyday issues in desi culture, like taboos around divorce, female desire, sex, moving out of their in-laws homes and body shaming, to create their own agency.
