Women Writers’ Fest is the only women-focused literary fest in Asia. We have organized over 30 editions across different Indian cities these past few years. The pandemic stopped us from travelling to you but could not curb us from staying connected. After two years of online in 2022, the Women Writers Fest will be available in a hybrid format and explore different themes. Expect a stellar lineup of speakers and sparking conversations around topics that provoke discussions and debate.

With the SheThePeople Women Writers Fest, we seek to mainstream women’s writing and provide a democratic, encouraging platform for women writers across genres, literary and commercial fiction and non-fiction, and varied mediums to be showcased and heard. The event also features women from other creative spaces including, RJs, filmmakers, theatre actors, screenplay writers and so on.

The Women Writers Fest is organized by SheThePeople and curated by Founder Shaili Chopra and co-curated by Deepshikha Chakravarti.
